The DAWN PHENOMENON & the SOMOGYI EFFECT. These two phenomena are often confused because the both are early morning HYPERGLYCEMIA but there is a difference between the two. Some even think that the SOMOGYI EFFECT is not even a real thing but due to nurses/nurse practitioners being tested over, I believe that I need to cover it.
